Welcome to TrimSpot. These terms govern your use of the service, whether through the app or through the website. Your very use of the service constitutes consent to these terms. If you do not agree to them, in whole or in part, you may not use the service.

1. What the service is

TrimSpot is a platform that connects clients with business owners in the grooming and beauty field, and enables appointment booking, calendar management, publication of a portfolio and communication between the parties.

We operate a platform only. The professional service itself — the haircut, the treatment or any other service — is provided by the business owner and under the business owner's full responsibility. We are not a party to the engagement between you, we do not employ the business owners, and we are not responsible for the quality of the service, its price, its availability or any damage caused in the course of it.

2. Registration and account

3. Appointments, cancellations and no-shows

Booking an appointment through the service creates an engagement between you and the business owner. The cancellation, payment and no-show policy is set by the business owner and is displayed when the appointment is booked. It is your responsibility to read it before confirming.

In addition to the policy written by the business owner, the app defines a cancellation window whose length is set by the business owner (the default — 5 hours before the appointment time). An appointment can be cancelled in the app at any time until it begins, and the slot is released immediately in the business owner's calendar. A cancellation made within the window or close to it is marked as a late cancellation, and the business owner receives a notification of it.

We may, but are not obliged to, send reminders and confirmations. Not receiving a reminder is not grounds for cancelling an appointment or for an exemption from cancellation fees.

4. User content

To the extent that you upload content — photos, reviews, comments or stories — you declare that:

You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and distribute the content solely in the course of operating the service. We may remove content that appears to us to be infringing, without prior notice.

Every image uploaded to the service is scanned automatically before it is published to detect offensive content. An image classified as offensive with a high level of certainty will not be published; an image whose classification is borderline may be published hidden pending human review. Full details — including the identity of the scanning provider — appear in the Privacy Policy.

5. Prohibited uses

6. Calendar connection and calendar export

Holders of a barber account may connect a Google calendar for the purpose of synchronising appointments. The connection is voluntary and can be disconnected at any time. The manner in which this data is handled is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

Alternatively, an external calendar in the ICS standard may be connected (read-only), and an ICS address may be generated for exporting the appointment calendar to another calendar. The export address is secret, and whoever holds it sees the appointments without any need to sign in, and each event shows the appointment time, the name of the service and the client's first name or username. This address must not be given to anyone you do not wish to see your clients' details; it can be revoked and a new one generated at any time from the calendar settings.

7. Availability of the service

We strive for continuous availability, but we do not undertake that the service will operate without interruptions or faults. We may shut the service down for maintenance purposes, change features, add or remove them, and even discontinue the operation of the service altogether, with reasonable advance notice to the extent possible.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is ("AS IS") and as available ("AS AVAILABLE"). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, consequential or special damage arising from the use of the service or from the inability to use it, including damage originating in a service provided by a business owner, in loss of information or in interruption of activity.

9. Termination of use

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that has breached these terms, or in respect of which there is a reasonable suspicion of misuse, including without prior notice in serious cases.

Deleting an account cancels all future appointments connected to it. The other party to each such appointment — the client or the business owner — receives an automatic notification of this. When a client deletes their account, the slot that has been freed is offered to those waiting for that day. Details of what is deleted and how: Account and data deletion.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. A material change will be published in the service interface. Continued use after the update constitutes consent to the new wording.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts in the Tel Aviv District.

These terms are also published in translation into English, Arabic and Russian, for convenience only. The Hebrew version is the binding version, and in any case of contradiction or inconsistency between it and any translation — the Hebrew version shall prevail.
